In storytelling and autobiography, singer-actress Donna Loren and her collaborator Dr. Adam Gerace delve into her life and career at the height of the Swingin’ Sixties and what it all means for her today. Let’s talk it over!

A little bit about the podcast… In 2020, my longtime friend and collaborator Donna and I started a podcast where she could share her life and career story, and through which we could delve into topics such as understanding and healing from early experiences, practising self-compassion, personal growth, and living life in line with one’s values. It’s also a great opportunity to speak about mid-century music, movies, and design, as well as how that influential decade is still shaping us today. More recently, we welcomed both guests from Donna’s career and “fan” guests, the latter being people with their own interesting stories who connected with us because they been touched by Donna’s work either way back then or more recently.

We recorded over 80 episodes between August 2020 and April 2025, with Donna in the United States and me in Australia. One video episode was even recorded when I was in Alberobello in Italy’s Puglia region, a place to which Donna had her own special connection!
